Volunteer Application

We fundraise mainly September to December (inclusive) in Mahon, Wilton, Ringaskiddy, Michelstown, The Lough etc.

We need people to distribute our cards & calendars to various businesses/locations in Cork City & County

Days/Hours
Volunteers are asked to commit to a minimum of two hours per event, city areas this can be over any day, 7 days a week mainly business hours.

Mallow Home & Garden is a full day 10am to 5/6pm
You can help by joining us for a full or half day 12-3/4pm Saturday & Sunday

Role Profile
Fundraising Volunteer

Volunteers are asked to:

Attend a two hour orientation meeting
Subsequently attend occasional training sessions according to a pre-arranged rota
Wear the RCP vest and maintain brand neutrality
Arrive in time to the event
Tidy the stand and ensure supplies and products are correctly displayed .
Provide feedback to the group should you have any problems or issues

Personal Requirements/Skills

Must have the relevant experience in sales & customer care
Punctual and reliable in attendance
To have a friendly, sensitive and courteous manner
To have excellent communication skills
Willing to work as member of a team
Flexibility and the ability to use own initiative
To attend Volunteer team meetings as arranged
Must have use of a mobile phone
